# EODE-RUSSIA/ ON THURSDAY, CRIMEA MARKED THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE 2014 REFERENDUM – MONITORED BY EODE – WHICH SAW THE PENINSULA BREAK OFF FROM UKRAINE AND REJOIN RUSSIA!

In the referendum of March 16, 2014 – monitored by EODE Ngo on Luc MICHEL direction (138 International monitors from various UE and CIS countries, despite NATO –  EU – OSCE opposition and sabotages, including a wide NATO’s medias “LucMichelbashing” and “EODEbashing”) – over 80% of Crimeans came out to a referendum hastily organized by weary Crimean authorities. More than 95% of the peninsula’s residents voted in favor of rejoining Russia, almost exactly 60 years after it was handed to the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic by Nikita Khrushchev in 1954.
